They made a big fuss about that in this PH. I had booked a room with single occupancy and used a suite upgrade. Their argument was: the extra cost for breakfast. 'I said which breakfast? I'm Diamond and Breakfast is free for me.' No dice. Then the calculation of the extra charge was completely off. After some back and forth over the rate I was made to sign a 120€/day higher rate. Or else no room (which was not ready BTW, see above). I asked them to reconsider and double check. When we checked out after a 3 day stay the calculations began again (since the invoicing was in TRY, the rate in EUR) and in the end they asked me to pay 20EUR/day extra. In the end that is one of the major factor why this PH was disappointing for me. I would now book it the same way, but ask the diamond concierge to adjust the number of persons after applying the suite upgrade.
