Better than UA, though that is just MHO.

As shown in the link, there will be one hot option, which is a special Hawaiian themed meal for $6 (looks like "Island French Toast" this month). In my experience, the hot BOB on AS is usually pretty good and better than other airlines. It is usually best to sit toward the front of the Y cabin to ensure that they don't run out. If the hot option doesn't appeal to me, I usually order the cheese plate or the Mediterranean Tapas.

The Hawaiian snack mix is pretty tasty and there are also complimentary Mai Tais during the 3rd beverage service.

As mentioned Digeplayers are available for $10 and they contain about 75 movies, some TV shows, games and music. I bring my own headphones since the ones AS offers are pretty marginal. If you don't have a tablet with content already loaded, it can be a decent investment.
