I was also told without hesitation by my check-in agent that I could have breakfast in the restaurant, but when I pointed out that it doesn't say that in the elite rules, she called her manager on the phone. They don't want to give elites breakfast in the lobby restaurant, but they are stuck. By trying to address one issue (kids in the lounge before 9 am) they created another issue. By allowing only elites with kids under 12 years old breakfast in the lobby restaurant, it seems they are penalizing people without kids. I suggested to the front desk agent that I could rent a kid from outside.

The lounge manager joked it is another incentive to have kids.
