So I asked the person who took me to the lounge whether I could eat downstairs in the restaurant and he confidently said "yes, it's been that way for a month." I wasn't too sure, but I ate downstairs twice, signed the bill with a note that it was free, and wasn't charged at checkout.

Yet Kevino (gold) was told that gold and platinum do not get breakfast downstairs, but would be given a 'one time exception'.

Time will tell, I guess.
I was told multiple times that I can eat in the lobby restaurant at Marriott on Suk 57. Although I had to sign the bill, but the front desk told me that they will not charge for breakfast. Guess I lucked out.
