I'm CO platinum...scheduled SFO-EWR next Tuesday p.m. on the red-eye...I tried to upgrade at 12:05 a.m. this morning...no luck...tried again an hour ago..no luck...agent said all "tickets sold" ; as opposed to some seats not yet released....I know this is a real popular route / time...

any suggestions as to should i keep calling a couple times a day; get there 2 hours in advance...any experiences on upgrading this route ?
