It’s really frustrating to find reward seats with Aeroplan unless one is SE with IKK.
I am not even complaining about the scam fees. Just finding a seat is a great challenge.

For 21 consecutive days, nothing is available at 11 months out!
260K Amex MR technically can get you 2 business reward tickets from YYZ to HKG but there is no seat over 21 consecutive days at 11 months out.
It begs the question of what's the point of participating in Aeroplan.
I'm still able to book although slim pickings. I have a flexible schedule.
I notice quite a few flight selections added during the year by AC and *A members. It used to be that inventory is loaded a year out. Not such the case anymore, and I find checking back for availability works.
There was plenty of a availability 3 months out for Christmas Break YYC-MCO as an example.
