I was aware of the situation you describe but, nevertheless, find myself in the same boat. On Jan 1, I exchanged 60,000 Marriott points for 20K RR. I had to do it in two separate 30K transactions. Today both transactions posted but only one qualifies for CP status. Somehow, Southwest is showing the first transaction occurred on 12/31. I have written documentation from Marriott (and verbal confirmation from their customer service) that both happened on 1/1. I did it in the middle of the day so time zone is not a factor. I'm trying to get through to SWA today but the telephone wait is 20+ minutes. I'm trying to keep a good attitude but this is ridiculous.

I wonder, did you do the exchanges late night causing a time zone differential that would have resulted in the different date postings?
