Hi all,
New to this particular forum. In one way or another, I've basically been a Worldmate User for many years, and I include the 7 years or so I was a BB owner and used BB Travel since they are essentially the same. Flight monitoring was important to me and comparing apples to apples across all three, I was mildly disappointed I had to upgrade to WM Gold to get that monitoring (since it was free on BB Travel).

I tried TripIt, but saw no value whatsoever in paying a larger monthly fee for that service when WM was much less expensive and found the interface easy.

All that said, however, I think I'm looking for a new app. As much as I like convenience, I also value security. For those of use using these apps/services (TripIt, Worldmate, Tripcase, BB Travel, etc.) we send emails to an email address that contain name, confirmation codes, dates, etc. Who at these organizations see's this information? What would happen if their system was hacked or some disgruntled employee wanted to 'take down' their former employer by stealing information or causing disruption by canceling trips submitted through their in box?

I have similar concerns with AwardWallet, so I don't use that, either. I mean really - giving my passwords to someone else for all my travel accounts? Am I the only one to see the gaping security hole in that? (No snark intended or implied, just really wondering why folks would do that?)

As such, do any of you know of an app that can take my confirmation info directly from my inbox (without going through another remote or third party inbox) to populate the info? I like the idea of having air, hotel, car reservations all together, but don't feel like sharing that info with a remote inbox and the people who may have access to it. Sound fair?

Does such an app exist (the idea of manually populating any of those mentioned above, notwithstanding)?
