Searching for travel from LAX to LHR, one of the options offered involves LAX - YYZ on AA, connecting to the BA 787 service. The flyergeek in me is tempted not to let an opportunity to travel on a new aircraft type pass me by, and if nothing else it would break up the looooong flight in Y from the West Coast.

The connection time is just over 1 hour - would this be enough time to transit from AA to BA? Could I check bags through, and would I need to pass through Canadian immigration?
