The fruit does not travel well and does "water" if not consumed within a short period after taking it out of the shell.

If bringing snacks, I recommend fresh rather than processed durian snacks as the processed ones just doesn't taste the same! Durian Crepe from Angie the Choice are nicely packed and sealed in a plastic container hence good for travelling. Just need to put it in your luggage so that it remains cold in the cargo hold.
