Staybridge Birmingham is still ex VAT. Our stay was a tad over £60 inc VAT. Not bad, but I distinctly dislike the practice of ex-VAT pricing. I thought the Heathrow hotels were the only UK ones that did this (and that they had stopped!)
They do this because it's a long stay place and if a stay is longer than 28 nights the rate drops to 4% I think for the nights over 28.
I stayed on the weekend between Christmas and New Year for £39 and was quite impressed with the deal and thought it was a great deal.
