Question for any UK-based member - date formats

I've foolishly let my ex-CO miles expire. When I log into my UA account, it shows

Code:

Most recent account activity
Date 	Description 	Activity
10/01/2013 	Miles Expired 	(59,105)

But if I go into "View activity since my last statement" it shows

Code:

Non-airline activity 	Award miles 	
Date 	Description 					Total 	
1/10/2013 	Miles Expired					(59,105)

I can't tell whether they expired on 1st October or 10th January!
Can any other UK-based member tell me which format is used on each screen?
