I used to purchase Latitude fares a la carte and I absolutely find that there is cost justification in buying a Latitude Pass (unlimited or X-pack). For NA, the free T-48 hour upgrades are a bonus. The flexibility of cancelling, rebooking, etc. has saved me a ton of $$$ already. Plus for the Europe passes that I buy, it is awesome that I can book one ways and not have to worry about any minimum stay requirement for a round trip booking.
