I have a companion voucher and wondered if I could use the companion voucher to fly in to one airport and then return from another airport. I'd like to fly from London in to Seattle and return from Chicago (in August, hence the lack of flights), purchasing a separate internal flight from Seattle to Chicago.

Is this something that I could do with Avios and a BA/Amex companion voucher?
