Ask for reinstatement, explaining that you were not properly
advised by your attorney.
Explain that you would be willing to do community service abroad.
If they say no, they look pretty silly. But get it in writing.
If they do catch you, you'll get much more time than you expect;
they'll treat you like an absconder and it won't be fun. You could
do 30 days. So make it clear you really want to work it out.
