This is a known problem with SQKF. Although both saver upgrade and saver redemptions are booked in I class, there seem to be different quotas for full redemption (usually more availability) and saver upgrades ( usually less availability).

I have told them several times to tell their management to either have separate booking classes (I1 and I2?) for full saver redemption versus saver upgrades or better still make I availability more uniform, whether one is looking for saver upgrades or saver full redemptions. Knowing SQ, that will never happen!!

But as an aside, if full saver redemption is available and saver upgrade is not, the agent will able to upgrade your commercial ticket if you talk to him/her nicely!!
