What meal at what time will airlines offer enroute?

I have been puzzled with the timing of when airlines will serve "Breakfast", "Lunch", "Dinner", "Supper" and "Refreshments" en route to their destinations.

Of course this is not applicable to LCC because they don't default meals on board.

Meals offered for short haul flights are often clearly defined as to their closest meal times, but what is the time frames when they will offer "Refreshments" instead of "Main Meals"?

Anyways, I still not sure why SQ will offer me "Dinner" for a 4 hour flight leaving at 3pm confused Perhaps "Lunch" or "Afternoon Tea" will be more appropriate?

Then it comes to the huge inconsistency of meals offered for flights out of Australia.

SQ 212 offers Breakfast and Lunch whilst SQ 232 offers Lunch and Refreshment Only. Both are SYD - SIN.

SQ 866 departs at 1pm offers Lunch whilst SQ 872 departs at 3pm offers Dinner Shocked

So what is the criteria for an airline to determine what meal(s) to be served en-route?

And what about routes which has huge time difference?

For example: QR 816. You board the plane at 8am and arrive HKG at 8pm. So what meals should they offer? Breakfast and Lunch or Breakfast and Dinner? If that is Breakfast and Dinner, will it mean all passengers have to skip "Lunch"?

Finally, is there any airline routes in the would that offers 3 meals?
