You probably got the call center in Toronto. They are general reservation.
Actually there is a SE Desk. It is St. John NB. Agents in St John are very knowledgeable. Many are the original SE agents when we had Designated SE Res Agents.
St. John NB & YUL were the 2 SE Desk.
Most of the YUL SE Agents have retired. There are handful still there; they generally work early morning shift or graveyard
Nowadays 70% of the time when you get YUL it is new agents.
When I call, I outright ask Which call center I am getting. If they say YYZ, I hang up.
If it is YUL. I ask the name. If I do not know the agent I hang up. I know all the original YUL SE Agents.
