Whats up with Superbowl Weekend airfares?

I'm trying to book a trip for the game LAX-JFK saturday 2/1 returning 2/3. I understand that this is going to be a high demand weekend, but DL is pricing out at 1200 while Jetblue and Virgin are $318 RT. AA and UA are $500-600 RT.

They have zeroed out all the lower fare buckets for every flight that saturday/monday yet the seat maps appear completely empty in both classes on all of the flights I have checked. Below is the DL476 6:45 AM LAX-JFK as an example:

J9 C0 D0 I0 Z0 Y9 B9 M9 S0 H0 Q0 K0 L0 U0 T0 X0 V0 E0

I'm not sure what the average Super Bowl travel pattern is or if inventory will open up closer to the weekend.

I'd like to hold out and stick with DL but I'm not sure what's up with this pricing… Any insight is appreciated.
