I called in late September to cancel my second US card, CSR told me I could keep it open and the annual fee would be waived, so I kept it open. I just knew that something is going to go wrong, so I check back and see the annual fee hit (in Jan). Called again today to cancel the card. Absolutely useless CSR.

My third card is the only US/Barclays card open. I'm going to use the lounge access for my travel in Feb and then cancel it immediately. The fee is supposed to hit in June.
