First time posting... thought this would be a good place to ask this question.

My wife and I both have about 20k Frontier miles. We would like to go to Cancun this year and were thinking about getting the Frontier Mastercard (the one advertised on frontier.com) which offers 40,000 miles if you spend $500 in 3 months. This would give one of us about 60,000 miles which seems would cover two roundtrips to Cancun (we will be flying out of DFW).

What we are trying to get is an idea of timing. If we signed up for the card and spent the $500 fairly quickly, does anyone have any experience or idea on how long it would be until we were able to get the points and book the flight? I'm sure it varies, but I wasn't sure if I would have to wait 3 months then some additional time ...
