Is there any speculation on initial qualifying requirements for GS?

I've seen the $40K (PQD?) and 40CPM rates for re-qual but the data points are much less clear for first-timers.

I ask because I made a deliberate choice to plan United bookings for all my TPAC/TATL travel because I think I had a decent chance at GS. Based on the numbers that I've been given, I should meet those PQD and CPM thresholds before summer even begins.

However, if I'll need to bump average CPM up to something like $1, then I might as well enjoy those TPAC/TATL flights on other *A (or other) airlines and start diversifying away from UA entirely.

I'm seeking this primarily as a benefit for my domestic travel (wrt upgrades and IRROPS handling.)
