Changing a ticket to an earlier time same day
Hi,
I will have a trip ZRH-lhr-Lax-las-lhr-zrh
As the sector lhr-lax has changed to an earlier arrival I would be able to take an earlier AA flight out of lax to las.
I called and asked if I can rebook and the price they quoted was too high (165 EUR) as the sector would only cost 70 USD if I book it solo.
But they made me aware my return flight will become invalid if I do so and do not take the one originally booked.

Is there any chance that I can change my flight when I arrive in LAX and keep the return intact?

I am BA Gold in case that makes any difference. The tickets are booked in WT and WT+ and the long distances are upgraded to CW with Avios
