There's a Harry Potter shop and a Trolley in the Wall photo opportunity thing at Kings Cross. Not sure it's worth the detour though. Its mainly (if not entirely) a commercial opportunity. Kings Cross has modernised considerably and you can't go onto the platform unless you have a train ticket.
