This has come about after an investigation disclosed evil and revolting conditions. Legislators agreed that there was no reason why the disgusting and demoralizing conditions, which have generally prevailed, should continue.
Business of protecting people against themselves, I suppose? Surely if conditions improved, the price of the ticket went up too?
Might not be a bad idea after all. However I suspect at the end of the day many of the people who are complaining about sardine class packing would not support such legislation?
