I find certain reservations to be expensive, but others dirt-cheap. On the whole, National is fine, pricewise.

I rent cars at the same destination and for the same period of time, since I travel to the same place over and over and over at the same times, and the rates vary significantly. I've found that sometimes, but not always, booking just a day or two in advance, oddly, can be much cheaper than booking far in advance.
