Hi
I'm at JFK flying to lhr tonight. My original flight was cancelled last night, I rang BA and was rebooked onto later flight and thought everything was fine. When I got to the airport they said I was now in economy and asked me did I know this. After a long wait and several attempts by the lady she invited me to go wait in lounge, wait until gate is open and see if there are any business seats available. She said if not then I would have to fly economy.
I'm in lounge now and am confused. Am I not entitled to a business since I paid for it? Will they give me another rebooking if I refuse to fly economy? Will I be put up in a hotel? I'm in no rush to get home, what are the odds of there being a business seat available?
