The OP can try splitting his party up into two or three groups, in hopes of finding a couple of SAAver seats on one flight, a couple more on another, etc. But June is a peak time for Hawaii travel, so finding SAAver seats might prove challenging.
Thanks....yeah, I thought that was the case. Any thoughts on whether it's worthwhile waiting for a month or so for space to open up? Does AA release that type of space at regular intervals? The other option is to buy regular fare, but I'd rather wait as long as possible (i.e. use Avios) before doing that.
