They don't send an email confirmation when it is submitted. All you get is the message saying thank you for submitting and please wait 72 hours (or something like that). In my recent experience with an IHG BRG, they took the whole 72 hours to respond. As long as you submit within their 24 hour time frame, they'll approve it if the rate hasn't changed (which it often does).
