I have stayed at this hotel a few times during 2012 & 2013 - simply because it was the lowest priced IHG option in SIN (and Batam is not SIN).

My experience has been consistently negative - not only are the rooms very dated, but the Front Desk is less than helpful when it comes to even small courtesies for Platinum Elite members.

Thankfully, with the opening of the HIX Orchard, which is about a 5-minute walk away from the Atrium, you can get a newer room with breakfast for the same price.
