The room's going to feel really cramped with 2 children those ages, more so with teens. There's no dividing walls or anything and with 2 queens no extra room to sit down in the room other than at the small desk. Suites are nearly double the square footage, if you can do that it would be good.

The HR is a very large property - meant to be a destination resort. Has nice water facilities (slides, pools), good beaches, and lots of stuff to walk to. In all that's good and bad about a large resort e.g. lots of tourists, less personal service, it also has more things for kids/teens to do. We really liked that there were a bunch of daily planned activities to do with the kids. The property does go out of it's way to be kid-friendly, they had a mini checkin desk just for kids, was quite cool.

The Andaz is meant to be a smaller, more intimate setting where well, one goes to be intimate. It feels like you're supposed to go there, stay on the palatial property and enjoy the excellent service and good food/wine. Stuff is priced accordingly. It's kind of the opposite for kids, there's not much to do since the property is tuned for adults. There is a free kid's club (which is tremendous since most Camp Hyatt for kids cost big $$$), but this is also the sort of place parents drop their kids off and then go off to enjoy their day. Different styles and also your kids are likely too old. For teens, a long stay without going off property is going to be boring imo.

Again, these properties aim at very different markets.
