Despite having a high credit score and multiple large credit lines with other issuers, I’ve never been able to get enough of a credit line with BoA to secure the AS Visa Signature. Last time I tried, I got some sort of special student-level platinum card with a $900 credit limit – there was never any mention of this in the application or approval process, I only found out when I went to close the card and learned that I couldn’t transfer the credit line to my Virgin Atlantic (then-)Amex because they were different credit classifications. YMMV.
