Has anyone had a recent experience with Delta transferring baggage to Korean Air? We are flying tomorrow TPA-ATL-ICN-KUL one way with a ton of luggage. The price of the tickets on koreanair.com were like $500 cheaper per ticket than on delta.com, so I purchased the ATL-ICN-KUL on Korean and purchased the TPA-ATL on delta.com. I've had two Delta agents tell me that they will forward the luggage from Delta to Korean but one today tell me that I will have to reclaim in Atlanta in the Domestic Terminal, take the shuttle to the International Terminal and check bags with Korean there. UGH! Thanks for any advice you have.
