Stayed here over Christmas for 2 nights on Cash and points
Was upgraded to Director Room (basically junior suite but living room area is in front of bed...not a separate room)
Checked in at about 6pm. The receptionist told me about club lounge benefits (platinum member) and told me to have my dinner up there. I was thinking dinner ?
Holy .......true enough, the evening hot food was sufficient for dinner. There was bread, salad, soup, dumplings, beef, chicken, stir fried vegetables, Taiwanese soup noodle, Taiwanese pork rice, and desserts (cakes and fruits).
I saw the SQ airline crew having their dinner there on Christmas Eve too, where they served lobster bisque and roast turkey!
Hotel building is old but the rooms are refurbed. If it was refurbed a few years ago, then I must say they had done a great job maintaining it clean
Club lounge ladies' staff are excellent, friendly, helpful and informative.
