Last time I landed in Mumbai airport at end of October as we went through arrivals the largest rat I have seen fell from the roof missing me and another passenger by inches. The staff all looked as it sat their stunned for a few seconds then it ambled to the edge of the room and under a desk. The many airport staff did not blink an eye telling us it happens all the time.

Mumbai wins hands down for worst airport I have been in for many years. Made Marrakech look efficient and modern.

On the return in November pretty sure I saw a ratty tail poking out as we went down to board (although obviously looking out then).

I'm a country girl-don't mind rats - just don't expect them to drop on you in an airport.
