My final DL flight of 2013 was PHX-JFK on a 737-800 on 12/20 with an upgrade to F. The flight left PHX around 1230 and reached JFK at 1900. A cold lunch was served which consisted of a salad with various greens, slices of apples and either pecans or walnuts, some bleu cheese crumbles and about 3 ounces of chicken breast slices. A fruit cup dominated by apple slices and a packaged cookie accompanied the salad. I don't remember any bread and butter. I did get my grains from the miniatures of Skyy Vodka they poured into the bloody mary mix.

I did have a nice ride, and the FAs were friendly and helpful.

I start my 2014 aviation activities in 23 hours, this time aboard Alaska Airlines winging toward PDX and OGG.

Happy New Year, everyone!!!
