I don't think it's just me, but I always have to end up requesting customer service to research and validate my stays before I get my points credited, at least 50% of the time (more if it's an property outside of the US).
But most recently, I was extremely disappointed to be told that my stays at TRYP properties in Spain did not count toward Gold Elite status or the 2014 bonus promotion. I went through their whole terms and conditions and can find nothing in there about this exclusion. I'm still waiting for them to give me the exact citation.
And I am still waiting for the points to post for one of the stays there, even after I had already been told that they were going to post soon (eleven days ago).
I guess what bothers me most is that their advertising is all over the map with the benefits of their Rewards program but in reality it is very hard to actually reap those elusive rewards. I find this to be the most onerous program of any I belong to.
