What, United's Hawaii birds? Those seats suck and just have a massive aisle. AC Y+ at 38 pitch and 20 width is comparable with any standard domestic first narrowbody product.

No, that is your perception for some reason. The reality is that it's not. It's just like BA WT+, or Cathay Pacific Y+. It's a nice product. You even get enhanced meal service which is nice. Hell, "Y+" on any US airline is 9 across at best with not much other than a few inches legroom improvement.
