It depends on the agent at checking.

I flew to BLR on AF (DL 006 ticket). Then flew to HYD on Jet airways on a separate ticket. They allow 15kg. I had 20kg. BLR to HYD she did not even bring it up. It was not even the day of international flight; was a week later! On the way back (HYD to BLR) i got a very unpleasant agent. He absolutely refused to allow anything more than 15kg and I had to pay for excess weight. Claimed that there were no allowances for international connections for over a year. I told him that i was allowed extra weight just two weeks earlier on the outbound leg and in march on both legs. He's aid no way. I asked him to look it up, but of course he would not. Had to pay Rs. 250 per kg.

They are learning all the bad things for US airlines! It used to be a pleasure to fly jet airways.

Hence the separate Jet ticket. We arrive at 1am, and the earliest connecting flight is Jet Air at 4:30am.
