Is all this advice for AS metal only?
Or does it apply to AA and DL?

So I have enough miles for MVP gold for the year - or should - but AS is so slow at getting the data from AA that I will probably be under the 50k for 2013 when I fly AA on Jan 3.

When I booked on AA they showed AA status but what will happen Jan 3 on an AA flight? Do they refresh the AS data or are they the same as AS?

Now of course everyone is thinking why doesn't he use his Pt status on AA? I want and need the status on AS for the year.
