I usually book just a few days ahead, sometimes on the same day that i fly. The front rows in coach are usually almost empty and available and i have no issues to get a decent seat in row 31 (on A330) 32 or 33.
I understand that part - but when you book, how to you get hold of these seats before check-in opens?
