Waiting for BA Telephone Rep to Answer phone
I called BA Executive club to change an Avios award on an American Airlines flight. Very busy told that there would be a 45 minute wait. I put phone on speaker and continued doing other work. After approximately 40 minutes music stopped and line went dead.
I call again on another phone line , same message. I am still waiting.
Is this normal? Is there a way to get a response ; the flight I want to change is leaving in a couple of hours and I would rather not lose the Avios or the return.
I just had BA pick up. They say that nothing can be done since it is within 24 hours of departure.
Any comments or am I SOL.
