Does this mean we will get bumped and I should try to get the next best available seats or can I rely on the selection being honoured? For both sectors they are forward rows on an intl A320; I suspect they may have been sold as works deluxe.

I am aware that seats selection is not guaranteed and can be changed for ops reasons, but was wondering if anyone had struck this before and still got their seats, or otherwise new what this actually meant. Thanks
I wouldn't worry about this. I have had and I'm still having this problem at the moment. I assume you have requested seats in row 3 on an international A320. Recently Air NZ has started blocking these seats for airport use. However if you had selected them before they become unavailable and they still come up as being requested you should still be given these seats. 48 hours before the flight they will show as being available again.

I fly TT on A320's a lot and had request seats in row 3 a few times and when i saw they had become unavailable I worried they had been held for works deluxe customers like in the past but I soon discovered they hadn't and they become avalible again prior to the flight and i was still given the seats at check in.

Hope this helps, I would be interested to know if you have in fact requested row 3.
