I often fly on AP tickets which were booked through my brother in law's AP account.

If I have to change a flight I just call AP, punch in my own AP account number when asked to do so in the beginning and then when the agent answers I just give her the six digit flight locator number and ask for the change I need.

I have done this numerous times without ever being questioned....
