We'll be flying from LAX to LIM in J on LA2605 departing at 23:20 in a few weeks. This will be our first time flying LAN and I can't find anything on the LAN website. How early can we check in? Is it restricted to three hours before the flight or can we check in earlier?

We'll be staying with relatives who live an hour and a half drive from LAX and I need to book a shuttle and I'm trying to decide what time we should request to arrive at LAX. I'd rather aim to be there earlier in case of traffic delays and am thinking of trying to be at LAX between 7pm and 7.30pm. So long as we can check in our luggage when we arrive we can spend the extra time in the lounge.
