Hi all,

I'm going to be arriving in Kolkata on Monday via Druk Air from Paro Bhutan around 8AM, and flying out around 5PM on a domestic SpiceJet flight to Bangalore. My hope is to get into the city for a few hours before my flight; I'm good to go on the visa and everything.

Transit-wise, I think I've figured things out; pre-paid taxi to the Dum Dum metro station rather than a direct taxi to/from the downtown.

However, left luggage is currently vexing me; I have a checked bag I'd need to drop, and there also seems to be some changes afoot in terms of who flies out of what terminal and what services are available at each terminal. I'm not optimistic that Spicejet will take my checked bag 8 hours before departure, so if there isn't a left luggage facility in the airport, I'm not sure I have any options.

Does anyone experienced with Kolkata airport after the changes of earlier this year know what I should be doing?
