No clue what caused it, but definitely not from hitting a curb or anything like that. I was driving down the autobahn and the tire pressure warning came on. The sidewalls were stiff enough that I didn't even know the tire was flat until I pulled off at an exit with a service station. When I put the spare on, I couldn't see any obvious cause of the flat like a nail.
