New to this IHG forum, having read through most of the threads here I just learned that I could simply register for different promos and gain lots of points, but now you are telling here that those promo codes won't work anymore, right?

My next stay will be early January, so I can only play my BigWin and wait for new promos-2014 instead of starting to bombard lots of codes into the provided registration link?

I guess I have got it right, but if someone can nicely confirm, I am grateful. Thanks
