Yes, OP should move to another carrier, where there will not be a single instance of bad service. Every UA flight must serve cold food with crystals and "lacks entertainment systems". I drove a Chevy once and it had a flat tire. I will never buy another Chevy.
There was bad service both ways on 14 hour flights. I was ready to ignore the first annoying leg, but then we got another one on the return.
