Yeah, I always treat duty free with a great deal of suspicion. I generally only buy things there if I'm schlepping around too much to deal with buying bottles before I leave.
I will say that at the YQB duty free I've found Coureur des Bois (a maple-based liquor only sold in Quebec) for less than they sell it at SAQ.
